Family in Faith is supporting Dignity4Girls ( Dignity4Girls.org) who sends out feminine hygiene kits to vulnerable women and girls in Kenya and Liberia. These kits contain reusable feminine pads that are sewn locally (pattern found at DaysforGirls.org) by volunteers and shipped through Orphan Grain Train to their contacts in country. Digntiy4Girls recently received a donation of 2,000 kits from sewers in Iowa! However, these kits do not contain the two pairs of underwear for the girls.
This means that Dignity4Girls needs to collect over 4,000 pairs of underwear. We have met our goal for the first 2,000!! Now we need to collect the second set of 2,000 to be shipped this spring.
