These kits provide 3 years of sustainable feminine hygiene for girls in Kenya.
Family In Faith invites you to partner with us in continuing to sew more of these much needed feminine hygiene pads for the young women of Kenya. If you are interested in learning more about this project please contact Gayle at 630-221-1021. We are partnering with Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle to offer several “sew-in” events this year, please be sure to note which location is hosting each event. Come join us as we gather to trace, cut, iron and sew together. A wonderful time of fellowship while serving a great need.
Do you love to sew? Or know someone who does? Learn to sew these very important feminine hygiene products at home on your own time.
We are also accepting donations of fabric. Brightly colored and patterned quality flannel and cotton are needed.
If you are curious about how Family In Faith became aware of the need, please download the PDF Dignity for Girls of Kenya. Robert Gutwa in Kenya explains the situation.
